Gearboxes
SGE offers substantial savings in the exchange of worn gearbox units for rebuilt units, or our customer can choose to have SGE rebuild their worn gearbox in-house, utilizing our Cone Drive Certified Technicians.
SGE's specialized gearbox program offers the following procedures in a gearbox rebuild:
- Blasting, priming & painting with corrosive resistant epoxy paint
- Inspection of Bronze and Worm Gear
- Replacement of all Seals, Bearings and Shims
- After reassembly, to ensure proper operation, a bronze gear alignment and shimming check is conducted prior to a final test run of the unit.
SGE is dedicated to customer satisfaction, and as a customer-oriented business, will initiate gearbox rebuild or repair only after all options and costs have been discussed and meet customer approval.
